Privacy Policy

This calculator is a static site that runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you type never leave your device, and there is no backend that could store them. This policy explains the few things your browser does keep.
What we collect
Nothing. Your age, sex, height, weight and body-fat figure are read by JavaScript on your own device to render the results, then discarded when you close the tab.
There is no sign-up, no email field and no form that sends your inputs anywhere.
What is stored on your device
Your display preferences — appearance (light, dark or follow system), font size and font weight — are saved in your browser’s localStorage so the site looks the same next time.
Those preferences stay on your device. Clearing site data removes them and the site falls back to its defaults.
Shared links
The “copy link” button puts your inputs into the page URL as parameters (for example ?w=70&h=175&a=28) and copies that link to your clipboard only. We never receive it.
Anyone you send the link to can see the values it contains, so treat it like any other message.
Cookies and tracking
We do not set cookies, and we do not use analytics, advertising pixels or behavioural tracking.
The site loads no third-party fonts, scripts or embedded content, so no other party receives a request from your browser while you use it.
Server logs
Because the site is served as static files, our hosting provider may record standard technical information such as IP address, user agent and requested URL to deliver the pages and keep the service running.
We do not use those logs to build profiles of visitors.
Children and health data
The calculator is a general fitness tool, not medical advice, and it is not directed at children under 13.
If you plan a large calorie deficit or have a medical condition, talk to a doctor or dietitian first.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the “last updated” date above changes with it.
